Some call me a Designer, an Information Architect, Business Analyst, a PM-IA-UX, CRUX, UXA—oh my! I prefer Creative Goddess. It doesn’t lock me into any field and it wins the title race hands down. 🙂

Seriously though. My skill sets overlap into many areas: user experience, information architecture, visual design, heuristic analysis, usability studies, task analysis, and user research.

I consider my main area of expertise to be in conducting user interviews. There’s nothing more effective than observing the end user in their work process and asking them about how they do their work to get at true user-centered design. It works every time. In the end, THEY thank ME because no one has ever taken the time to ask and LISTEN!

• Advocating for the end-user
• User process interviews to document current processes and recommend contextual UX solutions
• Drawing the big picture and drilling down to the details
• Consistency in branding and user experience across all customer-facing media
• Translating developer-speak to clients and vice versa on an Agile team
